We're Doing Something New!
Two of our new releases include a significant number of graphic elements which makes the files for these eBooks very large, and may cause download issues. We have taken two different approaches to solve this problem for our customers.
In the case of Alfred P. Sloan's My Years With General Motors the charts, graphs, and photos are incidental to the text and have been put into separate documents that can be downloaded for FREE.
However the photos, illustrations, and maps in The Struggle for Tennessee by James Street are fully integrated. The book has been divided into five chapters, each of which includes its respective graphics. Purchasing any one of these chapters gives the buyers a code which allows them to download the other four for FREE.
My Years With General Motors describes how the management policies of Mr. Sloan's, America's first celebrity CEO, revolutionized the auto industry and corporate business practices. Sloan made GM into an icon of productivity, market domination, and stable profitability. The book was opposed by GM management and took years to reach publication. My Years With General Motors is still the definitive historical resource on the practice of business management.
