We're adding titles and authors all the time now and want to let our readers know when something exciting becomes available so we're going to be sending out a periodic eNews message announcing what's what. But, since we also don't want to be a nuisance, if you'd rather not receive this newsletter, just let us know. Unsubscribe |

Come Meet the eNet People at Wordstock!
We are excited to participate in Wordstock, this Oct 13th & 14th. It's the largest celebration of literature and literacy in the Pacific Northwest, and one of the largest festivals of its kind in the nation. Wordstock celebrates books, writers, readers, and storytelling of all kinds. It features nine author stages; a book fair; a special children’s activity area & literature stage; workshops for emerging writers; over 125 exhibitors (we're one!); lots of special events; and more.
So if you're at the festival, stop by our booth (900) and say hello! We'd love to meet you.

Two eNet Authors You Should Check Out |
|
Thorne Smith
Modern ghosts stories, with their amusing, intrusive, witty, sometimes helpful (sometimes not) ghosts, and their snappy dialog, owe everything to Thorne Smith's seminal and delightful book Topper. Smith's ideas and story lines have been extensively used, borrowed, and expanded on in every area from literature to radio, television to movies, and beyond. His other books are equally charming and his ideas have influenced generations of other writers.
So why not go to the source and check out the original fun-loving and funny ghosts, and all the other wonderful characters and fantastical realities Thorne Smith has created?

John Mahon
A writer from a family of writers and publishers, John Mahon, is a real Renaissance man. He has had long careers in both the Navy and in newspapers; worked as an investment counselor; been a management consultant; and been a pilot, flying cargo to South America. Now in his 80s, he has embarked on yet another career, as an author. A lifelong fan of the Horatio Hornblower series, Mahon was saddened when Forester died with his last Hornblower book, Hornblower During the Crisis still unfinished. With the full approval of C.S. Forester's sons, Mahon created his second novel "The Jamaican Affair of 1805" which takes off from the unfinished book.

eNet Titles Added in September 2012
|
- Sadly, we did not add any books in September, since we were buried in an upgrade and needed to go back and update some of our earliest publications. But that's done now, and there are a whole bunch of books backed up in the pipeline, just waiting for us to put the finishing touches on them. So stay tuned for next month's books by Thorne Smith, Richard Bissell, John Collier and more ...
