.epub format: this format is used by many readers

EPUB is a free and open standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). Files have the extension .epub.

To any device

Most eReaders can read documents in the .epub format. Adobe Digital Editions is a free epub reader for Macs and Windows.

Most computers, hand-helds, and Xpads - and many reader devices, can be used to view ebooks in .epub format using an available eReader.

What you need to do: use your device's browser to access the eNet Press store, purchase an ebook, and download the ebook with the .epub format button. After downloading move the ebook file to wherever you keep your ebook files, or to your desktop. Open the eReader on your device and use the menu command to add a book, then find and select the ebook you want to add to the eReader's bookshelf.

Some eReaders will display the cover art of the ebook on the bookshelf.

Some devices will need an additional file, the cover art file - a .jpg file, with exactly the same name as the ebook file without the extensions .epub and .jpg; for instance, A Good Book.epub and A Good Book.jpg The names must be exact - lower and upper case identical - for the eBook's cover image to display in the eReader's bookcase.

For those eReaders which require a separate cover image file, when using .epub ebooks from eNet Press, eNet Press makes available free a cover image file for each of its titles.

Get the cover image file.

Go to the ebook title as listed on an ebook page. Click on the cover, then right click on the larger image and save it to your desk top.

Add the cover image file to the device.

To add the cover image file to your device, you need to locate the folder in the device which holds the ebook files. Then drag the cover image file to the same folder. Now the ebook file and the cover image file should be side by side. The cover will now show on the bookshelf.
